Commercial Surveys
Buying a commercial property can be a time-consuming and stressful procedure with substantial sums of money involved. We can help you by carrying out a survey on the premises. The type of survey is most likely to be either a Schedule of Condition or a traditional detailed building survey report. We can provide whatever you need.
Foxtrot has considerable experience of undertaking commercial surveys of a wide variety of buildings – offices, shops, commercial units, care homes, pubs and retail and leisure centres. All survey reports contain photographs and can be specifically written for your personal requirements. We encourage you to ask questions and are happy to discuss the survey by phone or email.
In addition to the building survey you will also need to obtain the following documents:
- Commercial EPC
- Asbestos management report
- Fire risk assessment
- Disabled Access Audit
- Air conditioning test ceritificate
- Electrical test certificate
- Gas test certificate
These should already exist if the premises have previously been used for commercial activities. Foxtrot can help organise these for you if they don't already exist.
