Residential Surveys
We understand that buying a property is a very stressful time. We can help by carrying out a survey on the property for you. This could be simply an inspection with a brief report on a specific defect that you would like an opinion on, or it could be a comprehensive report on the entire property, or something in between. We can provide whatever you need.
Although any survey and report can be guided to your personal requirements, there are two main types of report that most clients go for. The choice is largely guided by the age of the property. The older the property, the more likelihood that it will have had several owners who each have had their own thoughts of repairs and alterations and the quality of these may vary. Further, there are problems that arise through age alone and won't be found in younger properties. Therefore, older properties tend to require a more detailed level of survey and reporting whereas a younger property can be adequately reported by a standard level survey and report.

- Fireplaces, flues and chimney breasts

- Services (electricity, gas, water, heating, drains) Note:These are not tested but general comments are made. It is always prudent to have an independent inspection of the service installations.
